If you have a paid subscription, follow these steps to view your billing information or make changes to your subscription, such as adding a tax id, update billing information, or canceling your subscription:
  1. Sign in to your Ayrshare dashboard.
  2. If you have a Business Plan or Launch Plan, make sure you are switched to your Primary Profile.
  3. Navigate to the “Account” page.
  4. On the “Account” page, you will find your billing details and options to modify or cancel your subscription.
Note on Plan Upgrades
  • Self-serve: On the free Basic Plan, you can upgrade to any plan yourself from the pricing page. Within the multi-user plans, a monthly Launch Plan can upgrade to the full Business Plan directly from the dashboard.
  • Support-only (for now): Moving from the paid Premium Plan to a multi-user plan (the Launch Plan or Business Plan), or from an annual Launch Plan to the Business Plan, isn’t self-serve yet — for now, email support@ayrshare.com and we’ll handle the migration. Your connected social accounts, API keys, and settings carry over.
Please note the following important information regarding cancellations: All Account Types
  • Upon cancellation, all posts will be removed from the Ayrshare systems. However, they will still remain visible on the respective social media platforms where they were originally posted.
  • When you cancel your subscription, all information associated with your User Profiles will be permanently deleted from our system.
Paid Plans On a monthly plan, the “Account” page gives you two ways to cancel, and you choose which one you want before you confirm. On an annual plan, cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. The exception, on either kind of plan, is an account whose most recent payment failed — see “If your last payment failed” below.
  • At the end of your billing period. Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing cycle, so you keep your paid features until then and the plan stops renewing. This applies to accounts in good standing; if your last payment failed, the plan ends right away instead (see below). You will not be charged for another billing period. If your plan includes usage-based charges, such as user profiles above the plan minimum or messaging, those are billed at the end of the period, so you may receive one final invoice covering usage up to your cancellation date.
  • Immediately. Your plan ends today, your account is closed, and we refund you. Cancel within 48 hours of being charged and we refund that payment in full; after that, we refund the unused part of the billing period. Before you confirm, the dashboard shows you exactly what you will get back.
If your last payment failed If your most recent payment failed, canceling ends your plan and your access straight away — on monthly and annual plans alike, and whichever option you choose — so no further payment attempts are made against your card. If that payment first failed less than 48 hours before you cancel, we void the unpaid invoice. Otherwise the invoice remains open and payable. Canceling immediately: what to know before you confirm
  • Monthly plans only, and one time per account. Canceling immediately with a refund is available on any monthly paid plan. An annual plan cancels at the end of its billing period instead. It is also a one-time option — once an account has used it, canceling at the end of the billing period is still available, but the immediate option is not.
  • Your access ends immediately. Your paid features stop working as soon as you confirm — you will not keep them until the end of your billing period, and the account is closed rather than moved to another plan. This cannot be undone.
  • Your data deletion begins sooner. Because your plan ends today, the countdown to deleting your posts, analytics and linked social accounts — described under “All Account Types” above — starts now instead of at the end of your billing period. Depending on how much of the period was left, that can be up to a month earlier than it otherwise would be. Export anything you want to keep before you confirm.
  • How the refund is calculated. If you cancel within 48 hours of being charged, we refund that payment in full. After that, we refund the unused time left on the billing period. Either way the refund is capped at what we actually collected for the period, so it is never more than you paid.
  • Usage charges are billed separately. If you have pay-as-you-go usage that has not been invoiced yet, it is not taken out of your refund. A final invoice is issued for it when you cancel, so you may see a refund and a usage invoice for the same period. The dashboard tells you the amount before you confirm.
  • When no refund is due. There is nothing to refund if your trial hasn’t been charged yet, if your most recent invoice hasn’t been paid (see “If your last payment failed” above for what happens to that invoice), if there is no payment on this billing period to refund, or if there is no unused time left on it. The dashboard tells you which of these applies before you confirm, and the cancellation still goes through.
  • Where the money goes. The refund is issued to the original payment method, in the currency you were billed in. How long it takes to appear on your statement is up to your bank, typically 5-10 business days.
  • If the immediate option is not offered, or the dashboard says it cannot calculate a refund right now, you can still cancel at the end of your billing period, or email support@ayrshare.com.
