You need one API key and a user who links their LinkedIn page or profile. A LinkedIn link lasts 365 days, with a reminder 15 days before it expires. ## What Else Can You Do With the LinkedIn API? - **Post a PDF or slide deck as a document**: Put the document URL in mediaUrls and give it a title in linkedInOptions. Without a title, LinkedIn uses the file name. Documents don't take alt text. - **Post up to 9 images with alt text and titles**: Send up to 9 image URLs. altText and titles are arrays that line up with mediaUrls in order, so screen readers and captions stay attached to the right image. - **Upload video with a custom thumbnail**: MP4 up to 500 MB and 30 minutes. If the URL doesn't end in a video extension, set isVideo. The thumbnail must match the video's dimensions and stay under 10 MB. LinkedIn processes video for several minutes before the share URL and analytics work. - **Target company page posts by audience**: Narrow who sees an organic company page post by country, seniority, industry, job function, degree, field of study, or company size. LinkedIn needs at least 300 followers in the targeted audience, or the post fails. visibility takes public (the default), loggedin, or connections, and the allowed values for each targeting field are listed in the LinkedIn docs. - **Mention pages and members, and control sharing**: Write @handle for a company page and @[Full Name] or @vanity_name for a member.
