You need one API key and a user who links their Snapchat Public Profile. WebP, HEIC, HEIF, and AVIF are converted to JPEG, with EXIF and other metadata stripped. - **60 sec max length (Video)**: MP4 only, up to 1 GB, 5 to 60 seconds long, 9:16 portrait, 540 x 960 px recommended. The same limits apply to stories, saved stories, and Spotlight. - **500 characters per post (Characters)**: Post text up to 500 characters. Spotlight captions are cut at 160 characters rather than rejected. - **1 image or video (One media item per post)**: Every Snap carries exactly one image or one video. A request with several media URLs, or none, isn't a valid Snap. - **Clickable in Spotlight captions (Hashtags)**: Hashtags in Spotlight captions are clickable and searchable, so tag each Spotlight for discovery. Post text can be empty when the media carries the message. - **300 API calls per 5 min (Scheduling and limits)**: Pass a scheduleDate to publish later. Scheduled posts are checked against Snapchat's media rules when you submit them, so a bad video fails right away. Send one image or one video, and it goes to the Public Profile's story for 24 hours. Hashtags are clickable, captions over 160 characters are cut, and Snap reviews each new Spotlight before it goes live. - **List past stories and Spotlights**: Pull the profile's past stories, saved stories, and Spotlights, including ones posted outside Ayrshare. Each item has a type of PUBLIC_STORY, SAVED_STORY, or SPOTLIGHT. Story items include a media URL per Snap by default; pass media=false for metadata only. - **Read profile analytics by day**: Profile analytics cover views, view time, subscribes, replies, shares, and Snapcode scans.
